Well, you can thank "junior466" over on this thread. He's the one who pointed out the code change on Twenty Twelve. Sometimes you have to do detective work in the forums with a piece from this thread and a piece from that thread. Combine that with a help from a javascript friend, and there you go.... a solution that can benefit others.
