Okie dokie. I am down with doing this, but I have a few concerns:
1 - many of the changes are done by replacing images with new ones, not necessarily custom code. What in the style.css will account for that?
2 - Do I copy anything else over to make sure it's not replaced when I upgrade?
3 - Once I've set up the chile theme and corresponding images, is there a way to update the core file(s) without touching anything else? - As in, can I update the theme to the newest version (style.css and functions.php, I believe) by importing just the newest versions of a few select files through FTP?
