I have to keep the site set as "posts page" as home in order for my theme to work. So my solution was to create the static content I needed on the index page within the Jetpack folder. Now the site displays the home page correctly on the mobile side, but posts do not show up, and the links to them all redirect to the mobile home.
I need to put in a code to call out the posts so they display.
