I've tried your suggestion, the !important fixed this.

My style.css now shows :

@media screen and (max-width: 480px)  {
    .rum_sst_contents { display:none !important; }
}

Brave old TwentyEleven quite not responsive, however, time for a change I guess http://www.essor.info
