New to the forum.
I need to build a website for a client. I'm using a PC-based version of WP (running on WAMP with Windows XP SP3).
When the site is complete, I want to move the pages to my client's desktop PC (so they can update content as needed), and to the hosting server (live site).
I need to do the following:
Transfer the completed pages to my client's PC as seamlessly as possible.
Be able to add content to the live site from my PC when my client requests a change.
Allow my client to update their live site from their mobile phone and from their desktop PC.
Questions:
For my client's offline updates (desktop): would they need a separate WAMP and WordPress install on their PC, or do they just need to access WP on my PC? If so, how do I give them access?
In order for my client to update their live site from a mobile device, would they need a mobile version of WordPress installed on their phone? Do they need to install a mobile equivalent of WAMP on their phone as well?
